Sia lei che io, al secondo incontro, che abbiamo voluto considerare memorabile, siamo stati presi da quella strenua avidità di ricercare coincidenze e antecedenti which leave the lovers, and we reconstructed an extensive series of other meetings missed for a little ... "
In the few days of the congress was born a love that spontaneous determined, would, almost deliberately pursued by the hero: attractive and transgression, on the question present life, outlook on life as possible.
the story of two lovers intertwined chronicles the conference meetings. Within this is a memorable speech of the protagonist, provocative and passionate, seeks to lay bare the hypocrisy of the corporate policy "enlightened" time "... our theories about leisure activities, for example, were nothing but a sophisticated hoax intention owner to extend its assistance and its ideological influence, as well as economic, beyond the time of job performance. On this criterion alone answered, in effect, in my opinion, social services, libraries factory, cultural circles ...". And because of this speech is often cited as the novel "a work that addresses the problem of the relationship between intellectual and worker." But it is true that the protagonist says at the outset of his public lecture: "I felt the temptation to rise in me to talk to Anna, as if others were not there." The novel thus addresses the theme of love relationship, digs in its folds, from the most romantic to the more prosaic.
Who can find this and other works of Bigiaretti can read with pleasure prose, can enjoy the writings of an intellectual, intelligent, who deserves to be better remembered.
